Imagine if you bought my eBook:
I laid out successful blogging lessons in colorful fashion. So you read the eBook. After reading my eBook, you completely ignore all successful blogging lessons. Emailing me with a litany of blogging problems, proving you ignored my lessons, what should I do? Smile. And….blog, and let blog. You know the phrase “live and let live”, right? Live your life. Allow other people to live their lives. Stop judging. Stop punishing people.
Stop interfering in people’s lives. Help. Then get out of the way. If someone you helped returns for help you either ignore them – you already helped them – or gently nudge the blogger to listen to your prior advice. Imagine a blogging client ignores your advice and asks for help again. Gently allow the blogger to fail, ignoring their pleas – if the individual received your full coaching package – or simply redirect them to your coaching help from the past. Blog and let blog. Be so consumed with your blogging life that you have no energy to worry about other blogger’s blogging lives. Sure this feels tough at first. Humans feel empty. Empty humans become busy bodies. Busy bodies selfishly try to force other humans to do as selfish people want them to do. But wise coaches blog and let blog to accelerate their success by detaching from client outcomes. No human being can force another human being to do something or to receive some result. Accept this truth. Be at peace. Do your best coaching job. Then, let it go.
Is this easy to embrace? This surrendering mindset? Heck no. Most bloggers want to control everything. Coaches try to control their reputation by demanding clients follow their paths to succeed. Successfully, clients then show off how good a coach you are via glowing endorsements. Does it work this way? Heck no! Some clients do as you teach and succeed, becoming rabid fans in the process. Other clients ignore your advice. Some clients do not like your advice. What control do you have over clients? Zero. Zilch. Nada. Do your best job. Release outcomes. Blog, and let blog. Be at peace with bloggers ignoring your advice. Failing, some may complain about no strategy working for them. Even after you taught successful blogging strategies to these folks. What can you do? Absolutely nothing, save releasing them to blog how they choose to blog.
Surrendering promotes your peace of mind. Allowing coaching clients to do as they do also boosts your blogging profits. Versus wasting energy worrying about forcing your clients to succeed you meet new clients, get paid and inspire more resonant bloggers to succeed. Doesn’t that sound like an awesome way to succeed online? Tap into the power of surrender. Do an excellent job teaching bloggers how to succeed. Let clients go after you coach these folks. No human can force another human to succeed. Show them the way. Then get out of the way. Meet new clients to coach. Prosper. Let them go, too. Everybody ultimately makes their own choices.
