A cue ball.
Overlooking the bay.
In exotic, tropical, mysterious Koh Lanta, Thailand.
In the image above.
I use personal images on all 126 of my eBook covers.
Or, images captured by me or my wife Kelli.
Snapped from places we visited all over the globe.
Because I know 1 thing that separates bland from brilliant bloggers:
your personal brand.
They don’t just brand their blogs as blogging tips or making money online themed blogs.
Zac and John integrate their personal brand into their blogs.
Because each is 1 in a billion.
You are 1 in a billion.
Every person is 1 in a billion.
IF you integrate your personal brand into your blog.
How can I stand out from millions of blogs online?
By telling my story.
And by personalizing my blog.
From sharing my harrowing travel tales to simply posting images of myself on my blogs people can see I am a living, breath, real human being who’s writing the words on Blogging From Paradise.
The Great Disconnect
Readers tend to forget a human being – at least in most cases – mans the ship (or, wo-mans) at any blog.
A human. Like you. Like me.
This forgetfulness creates a disconnect that smart bloggers bridge instantly.
By humanizing their blogs.
By personalizing their blogging brands.
From Bland to Brilliant
Most of the millions of blogs online are bland, boring affairs because most of ’em are carbon copies.
Same advice. Same tips. Same delivery. No personality. No personal branding.
A few blogs amid this sea of Plain Jane blogs stand out like Olive Oil at a Weight Watcher’s Meeting.
Blogs built on a strong personal brand.
An identifiable brand.
Brilliant blogging, I call it.
Because no sentient being on earth can replicate an authentic, personal blogging brand.
Someone can jet to Koh Lanta, Thailand. Can shave their head. Can do a crap load of push ups to get that muscular V-tapir. Can rent the same house. Can get their wife to take the same snap shot at 4:24 AM, as the sun rises, just like my eBook cover above.
But they can’t:
- share this image at Blogging From Paradise (I own that domain)
- share that image with my audience (they trust me and follow me)
- tell that story in Ryan Biddulph’s unique, one of a kind, personally branded voice
You can’t mimic a personally branded blog.
And you WILL appear on world famous blogs when you get this personal branding thing down cold.
- add a human, authentic, personal touch to your blog and brand
- post selfies on your blog
- post personal videos on your blog (With you as the talking head)
- consider starting a podcast
- tell your stories in your voice
- Make your blog scream….YOU!
Watch the video as I discuss.
Are you adding a personal element to your brand?
Or are you a shy type?
