Work off of a Clock
Work off of a clock. Set an alarm. When a task time expires drop the task like a hot potato. Be detached. Do not get attached to any blogging activity. Attachment creates chaos. Chaos leads to a disorganized blogging day. I do a little bit then move on. This is one secret to my effectiveness and organization. If I tried to do one thing perfectly I would become disorganized. Do you know what I mean? Bloggers attached to one activity and become disorganized, spending 2, 4 or 8 hours on one activity. Let it go. Do a little work. Move on. Stay organized.
Do What Matters
Ultimately, do what matters. Blog intelligently. Bloggers blog. So write blog posts regularly. Guest post regularly. Stay organized by focusing on what matters and doing nothing else. Bloggers spend hours daily on design or other elements that are small potatoes. Focus on small potatoes and I guarantee you will become disorganized. Stop doing that. Give all of your attention and energy to creating, connecting and promoting your multiple streams of income.

Honor Your Human Not Robotic Nature
This tip screws everybody up. I know you are reading this post through your mind, not your heart. So your mind says just follow the steps like a robot and you will be incredibly organized. No way. You are human with changing emotions. You are not a robot. After following these tips for 3 days, your niece shows up for the day. Organization out the window, as your emotions fluctuate wildly. Honor your Human Nature. Obstacles arise. Emotions get triggered. Feel your emotions. Proceed. Honor your human nature to be disorganized for a few moments, then you can return to being organized after you embrace your human emotions.
Ultimately, being organized is between the ears. Expand your awareness. Become more aware of your thoughts and feelings throughout the day. Be aware of your mind, thoughts and feelings racing ahead to future scenarios or dwelling on the past. Organizing your mind through vigilant self-awareness is a powerful step for organizing your blogging day. As within, so without.
