Time flies when you’re having fun so it’s hard to believe that the Successful Blogging blog was launched a year ago today on the first of March 2011.

12 months later it’s proved to be a great place for writers and small business owners to learn more blogging tips and stay motivated. So far around 50,000 fabulous people have visited Successful Blogging with over 100,000 page views.

I have you and all my readers to thank for that so today I’m sending a big virtual birthday hug to all you Successful Blogging readers and wishing you many more years of blogging fun.

New, Improved Successful Blogging Book

While you were busy blogging the Mucho Man and I were beavering away to create an updated version of Successful Blogging in 12 Simple Steps. We’ve made several improvements to the first edition and are excited to share the new, improved edition of Successful Blogging in 12 Simple Steps today. These are the improvements we’ve made:

  • updated all the content so it’s current for 2012;
  • improved the book format so it’s a self-study course and workbook with space in each chapter for you to add your own input and notes.

To celebrate the launch of the new version and Successful Blogging’s first birthday we’ve come up with a special relaunch deal.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s reviewed my book over the last year.

Money Raised for Kiva and Other Fundraisers

Book sales of Successful Blogging in 12 Simple Steps have raised hundreds of dollar for Kiva so far which is fantastic.

This month (or maybe for longer) with the 10% from book sales we donate to charity I’d like to support Se7en who is helping to bring more books to African schools – we will use the money to post books from Australia to Africa – and Natalie Sisson who is cycling across Africa to raise funds for WomenWin.org.

While this is a change from Kiva these donations will still help women and children in Africa improve their lives and that’s a cause dear to my heart. I hope you approve and I’ll keep you updated on the Successful Blogging Facebook page.

Thank You Successful Blogging Readers

Many thanks as always for all your support, comments and social sharing over the past year. I really appreciate it and am looking forward to helping you take your blog to the next level.

Happy blogging and happy birthday to the Successful Blogging team! Annabel
