At the end of the day, solving reader problems helps you gain traffic and make that sweet moolah. Trying to do anything else leads to attachment, and that attachment leads to deeper fears being triggered. If you blog because of those fears, you do the dingbat thing of making simple, complex. You believe you need MORE content versus simply solving more problems through a wide range of channels. For starters. Add a host of limiting beliefs, driven by fear, to be led down the complex, failing path.
Blogging is simple but highly uncomfortable. Blogging is just solving people’s problems through your blog, guest posting, live videos and podcasts. Blogging is genuinely commenting on other blogger’s blogs. Simple. But not easy. Because doing simple things for years always triggers fears in you, like the fear of wasting your time, the fear of failing and the fear of being criticized. Toss in the fear of losing all of your money. Yeah; that’s a delicious one.
Anyway, facing, feeling and releasing these fears feels quite horrible sometimes. In these moments, you have a few choices to make; either you feel the fears, release the fears and keep doing simple things, to position yourself to succeed. Or you do not face the fears, bury the fears inside of you, and start making stupid decisions to do complex things because your fears influence you to do dumb, failing, difficult stuff.
For example; if I was horrified by my fears and refused to face, feel and release these energies, I would do something dumb like publishing 50 low-value, thin, 200 word blog posts to my blog daily, with about 20, 15 second videos spliced in. Foolishly enough, I actually did this some 8 years ago, I believe. Led to failure. I was an idiot to do the complex, panicked, desperate thing of publishing 50 posts to 2 of my blogs. Fear makes you do dumb, silly stuff.
After facing deep fears, feeling these hellish energies, and proceeding, I began doing the simple, more intelligent, more successful things in life, like publishing a few posts to my blog daily, than, leveraging my presence by placing 1-5 guest posts daily. Versus trying to force everything thru my blog and my readership, I solved simple blogging problems through other blogger’s readerships, expanding my presence, pronto. Why? I faced fear. Released fear. Blogged from a simple, effective, successful energy of generosity and abundance.
Never makes things complex because it leads to failure. Always make things simple. Blogging tips bloggers would be wise to keep helping readers drive traffic and profits. No need to re-invent the wheel, again and again. Readers o’ mine emailed me asking how they too could retire to a life of island hopping, like me. So I wrote this simple eBook. In truth, readers bring you basic problems. Solve the basic problems for a minute, aka, for a while. Succeed. Blogging is simple like that but hella uncomfortable because you need to keep doing simple things even when your mind and its fears tells you to do silly, foolish, complex things.
It’s almost like your mind tells you to do the complex things to drive around and avoid fears, versus facing fear head on, feeling its unpleasant energies, and proceeding from a freer, simpler, successful energy. I promise you guys; super successful bloggers keep doing simple, basic things like creating content and building connections for many days, months and years, versus doing complex shenanigans guaranteed to make life more difficult for you…..and also leading to imminent blogging failure.
Simple wins, guys. Keep doing simple creating and connecting. Face and feel fears. Return to simple. Rinse, wash and repeat to become a pro blogger.
You can do it!
Keep it simple.
