Step 1: Create An audience
Log in to your Mailchimp account.
If you don’t have one, you can create a free Mailchimp account here.
An Audience is a list of contact to which every email used to opt-in on your landing page will be added.
Before creating a landing page in Mailchimp, you need to first create an Audience.
On your Mailchimp dashboard, go to Audience on the left panel and select Audience Dashboard.
Next, Click on Manage Audience then select View Audiences at the bottom of the list.
On the Audiences page, Click the create new audience button at the top right corner.
Fill in the necessary information on this page and click the Save button.
You’ve successfully created your Audience.
The next step is to create your landing page.

On your dashboard, click on Campaigns from the left panel and select All campaigns from the options.
On the campaign page, select Landing pages and click the Create A New Landing Page button.
Enter the name of your landing page.

If you are using a free plan, you can only use Mailchimp’s default URL.
You need a paid plan so you can use a custom URL.
