10 minutes of YouTube resistance. I am as cool as a cucumber. Why? I learned how to knife through blogging frustrations.
Being human, you get upset, annoyed and angry sometimes. But being human, you release, relax and move forward. I enjoy moving forward. I hate clinging to the past. Understand? Past moments mean nothing but clinging to the past or worrying of future scenarios fuels annoyance.
Blogging seems challenging but gets terribly difficult for emotionally unintelligent bloggers. Bloggers spend 3 hours trying to place opt in forms properly, building frustration at coding, location, and any variable not terribly important. While you felt annoyed for 3 hours I published 3 posts. Why do I get ahead? I create because I feel calm and confident. Why do you get left behind? Frustration bubbles up in you. Resisting frustration makes annoyance stronger. You can just….scream! Even though you are human and deserve to let it go, nobody blogs successfully like a 3 year old kicking and screaming out of frustration.
Mastering frustration makes you calm, confident, relaxed and prospering. Sounds good.
Get through tough times. Follow these tips.
Set an Alarm
OK; maybe you cannot set an actual alarm on frustration but the idea is to release annoyance and annoyance-creating-activities fast to release feelings.
Example; a few minutes ago I spent 10 minutes:
- downloading an audio recorder to my phone
- trying to convert audio to video
- trying to upload video to YouTube
Nothing worked. After 10 minutes I wrote this guest post. See how it works? Set an alarm.
10 minutes is my max for potentially frustrating moments or activities. 10 minutes expires, I move on. No fuss. No frustrations.
Why do you anger? Attachment, my Young Blogging Buddhas, attachment. Attachment to specific acts. Did I believe converting the video made me successful? Nope. Did I believe uploading the video made me successful? Nope. Did I believe any specific action makes me successful? Nope.
I release attachment. I release frustration. I move on. Piece of cake.
Manage Your Energy
Manage your energy. Be aware of annoyance. Own frustration. Be with it. No matter the pain and fear, be with it. Be with annoyance to move it along.
Manage your energy. Follow a daily ritual.
- deep yin yoga
- deep breathing
- EFT tapping
Engage in 1 or 2 actions for beginners.
Manage your energy to expand your awareness. Expand your awareness to see, face, feel and release energies aligned with frustration. Let go the fear-pain to let go the annoyance.
This stuff feels tough at first. I am not lying. Imagine a whole life spent blaming people, things and circumstances for your frustration. Stinks right? You believed something annoyed you when the annoyance was in you and needed clearing. Ownership is not fun. But ownership is the key to freedom.
Look at this morning; I did not feel frustration during the experience because I did not attach to uploading videos. I moved on fast. But training my mind through energy management took time and a full commitment to observing my feelings. This takes a while folks. You probably blame frustration on blogging versus seeing annoyance in you. But you make the shift. Guaranteed. Just be with your feelings by managing your energy.
Relax, my blogging grasshoppers.
Feel frustrated energies. Move on.
Peace, calm, generosity and detachment remain. Aka, your natural state.
Be calm and leave frustration in your rear view mirror to succeed with your blog.
