Jumpline Review: Enterprise-Grade Shared Hosting

Jumpline criticizes other web hosting companies for using desktop computer hardware to support their shared hosting plans.

It is difficult to prove this particular claim, especially with top hosting companies now offering valuable services backed by reliable servers, but it is still very interesting to do a Jumpline review and see the shared hosting service packages the company is offering.

We are going to take a closer look at some of the features offered by Jumpline with the support of their enterprise-grade servers.

Jumpline Review-Shared Hosting

Jumpline offers three main shared hosting service packages for its customers. Unfortunately, none of the three available service plans offer unlimited storage space and monthly bandwidth.

The most basic plan, Jumpline Stacked, offers 10 GB of storage space and 100 GB of monthly bandwidth for you to use. You also get support for up to 100 email accounts and 10 FTP accounts.

The shared hosting plan also comes with a limited number of MySQL databases; with the Jumpline Stacked, you can only use up to 10 databases to support your sites.

Upgrade to the Jumpline Layered and you will get an additional 5 GB of storage space. When this Jumpline review is made, the Layered service package also offers 150 GB of monthly bandwidth along with 150 email accounts for you to use.

The service plan comes with an additional support for SSH access and unlimited domain names. Thanks to Jumpline’s affordable pricing, you can start using the Jumpline Layered service plan for as little as $7.47 per month.

If you need more space or more monthly bandwidth, the Jumpline Expanded would be the perfect service plan to look into.

It offers a whopping 20 GB of storage space and 200 GB of monthly bandwidth; similar to the previous service packages, you can create up to 200 email addresses and 20 MySQL databases.

This particular service package costs $19.95 per month, but you can opt for the annual contract to get an additional discount of 50% and make the monthly service cost much more affordable.

Jumpline Additional Services

Jumpline offers a number of additional services you can benefit from as well. Unfortunately, all of these optional extras come with a price.

For a dedicated IP address, for example, you need to spend an extra $3 per month. Extra 50 GB of monthly data transfer costs $5 a month while the ability to restore from your server’s automatic backup costs $50.

The basic service packages along with these additional service charges do show that Jumpline is not the most affordable shared hosting service provider out there.

Compared to FatCow’s unlimited hosting plan, for example, you will be spending more than twice FatCow’s service charge should you choose to use Jumpline shared hosting.

The lack of unlimited storage space and monthly data transfer quote means you will not be able to continue using Jumpline shared hosting when your website attracts thousands of visitors or you need to store more files online.

It is hard to imagine a single site using more than 10 GB of storage space, but it is actually a small amount of disk space if you are hosting multiple websites on a single hosting account.

The lack of bonuses and special offers also make Jumpline a little less attractive to first-time users. You can’t really benefit from free advertising credits or additional features since they are not offered as part of Jumpline’s service packages.

You can, however, expect the server to be highly reliable; there is no need to worry about your site being inaccessible or losing your visitors because of it when you choose to use Jumpline shared hosting services.

Enterprise-Grade Shared Hosting

In terms of reliability, Jumpline is one of the best on the market. However, it is difficult to justify the extra cost of using the company’s services even with their promise of enterprise-grade services in place.

FatCow is just as reliable – if not more reliable due to the use of cloud servers and extra redundancies – and the shared hosting plan from FatCow costs no more than $3.15 a month.

You can benefit from the 50% discount offered by Jumpline to those who choose the annual contract. However, making such a commitment and getting fewer features in return makes Jumpline shared hosting less attractive indeed.

Other web hosting companies who also offer discounts for signing a yearly contract adds bonuses such as advertising credits – $100 Google AdWords credit and other special offers will certainly help jumpstart your site – and a free domain name for your new websites.

All in all, we find Jumpline’s rather expensive pricing to be the biggest issue here. There are other web hosting companies that offer reliable services – using enterprise-grade hardware and internet backbones – for much less. FatCow is a good option to look into if you are looking for a good shared hosting with unlimited disk space.

Jumpline Discounts: Making Your Shared Hosting More Affordable

With so many web hosting companies offering their services today, it is essential that you settle not only for the most reliable and reputable one but also the most affordable one.

The cost of hosting your websites can be quite high if you choose the wrong service package to use.

Jumpline is offering a series of shared hosting service packages for customers to choose from, and the presence of Jumpline discounts make them even more affordable.

Jumpline Offer for Shared Hosting

You can choose from the three available service packages from Jumpline. Although the available shared hosting plans don’t offer unlimited storage space or monthly bandwidth, you will still be able to get all the space you need to host multiple websites.

The most basic shared hosting plan, also known as the Jumpline Stacked, offers 10 GB of storage space and 100 GB of monthly data transfer.

You also get 100 IMAP or POP3 email accounts along with 10 FTP accounts and 10 MySQL databases.

Other features such as the ability to host multiple domain names – as many as you like – and create virtual hosts are also included as part of the service plan.

Need more space? The Jumpline Layered or Jumpline Expanded may just be the right plan for you. The Layered shared hosting plan offers 15 GB of storage space and 150 GB of monthly data transfer, while the Expanded shared hosting plan boosts the storage space and monthly bandwidth all the way to 20 GB and 200 GB respectively.

There is no doubt that you will be able to host as many websites and blogs as you like, although you will have to limit the use of MySQL databases according to the service package you are using.

All shared hosting packages from Jumpline comes with the support for PERL, PHP and Python and SSL support. CPanel is used as the control panel for every hosting account, which means you will have no trouble at all accessing the offered features and managing your sites.

In terms of infrastructure, Jumpline is offering the best hardware you can expect to use when signing up for a shared hosting account.

Dell PowerEdge servers are used for maximum reliability, while the Cisco networking gears – complete with multiple redundancies – are added for unrivaled connectivity to and from the servers.

You can expect your site to be accessible at all times when you choose to use Jumpline’s shared hosting services.

Jumpline Special Offers

The basic service costs for Jumpline’s shared hosting plans are, unfortunately, rather expensive. To use the most basic service package, for example, you will have to pay $9.95 a month.

The Jumpline Layered costs $14.95 per month, while the top-of-the-line Jumpline Expanded will set you back $19.95 per month.

Compared to other shared hosting services such as FatCow’s unlimited shared hosting plan, these prices are indeed very expensive.

Use Jumpline discounts to help you lower the cost of using the company’s shared hosting services greatly. To claim the extra 50% discount, you need to sign up for a 1-year contract instead of the usual monthly payment term.

Jumpline Stacked is reduced all the way to just $4.97 per month with these Jumpline discounts used optimally. The Jumpline Layered and Jumpline Expanded cost $7.47 and $9.97 per month after discounts.

There are also special offers to benefit from should you decide to use Jumpline shared hosting services. Browse through review sites and online resource centers to find exclusive coupons and other special offers.

It is not difficult to lower the cost of these shared hosting plans as long as you have valid coupons and appealing special offers in hand.

Other Shared Hosting Services

It is difficult to justify the extra cost of using Jumpline’s shared hosting services. Even after discounts and special offers, the shared hosting packages from this company are still more expensive than select top shared hosting service plans from other top companies on the market.

FatCow, for example, is offering its unlimited shared hosting plan – with all element of the shared hosting service set to unlimited, including MySQL databases and FTP accounts – for as little as $3.15 per month using discounts and special offers.

With FatCow being as reliable – if not more thanks to the company’s use of cloud technologies – as Jumpline in terms of shared hosting services, you may find FatCow’s shared hosting plan to be more attractice and highly affordable.

If you choose to use Jumpline shared hosting, however, be sure to utilize the best special offers and claim all Jumpline discounts you can qualify for in order to lower the service cost to an affordable level.

You will be able to get all the shared hosting features and facilities you need and get your websites up and running quickly without having to spend a lot of money in the process.

Affordable VPS Servers with Jumpline Coupons

VPS hosting is the best option to go for if you want to host a resource-intensive web application or website without spending too much on a dedicated server.

You get root access to the server along with a wealth of other features to utilize at a very affordable price.

Jumpline has a series of VPS hosting packages you can choose from, each designed to be highly affordable thanks to Jumpline coupons and other special offers.

Before we talk about the available special offers you can claim, let’s take a look at the VPS hosting plans from this company first.

Jumpline VPS Hosting

Similar to the company’s shared hosting service, Jumpline offers three main VPS hosting service packages to choose from. The most basic one, VPS-512, includes 30 GB of storage space and a whopping 300 GB of monthly data transfer to use.

You also get 2 dedicated IP addresses and 512 MB of RAM along with other basic features included in every VPS hosting service plan. It is also possible to choose between CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian operating systems, although Windows Server is not available as an option. Jumpline review is very important to seeing if they are good.

The VPS-1024 plan add 1024 MB of RAM as part of the service package – instead of the earlier 512 MB of RAM – and extra disk space to use. The VPS hosting plan offers 40 GB of disk space and 400 GB of monthly data transfer along with Virtuozzo Power Panel control panel. Similar to the previous service package, you also get full root SSH access and a choice of three different operating systems.

Upgrade to the VPS-2048 service package and you can benefit from 2048 MB of RAM; this is the VPS hosting service plan to opt for if you want your web application to be as responsive as it can be.

As an extra, you also get 50 GB of storage space and 500 GB of monthly data transfer.

The combination should be more than enough for more websites and web apps, but it may not be sufficient if you are expecting a large amount of traffic or you are streaming large files to users.

Jumpline Review Special Offers

The available VPS hosting plans are reasonably priced, so you can expect them to be highly affordable. VPS-512 costs $29.95 per month, while VPS-1024 and VPS-2048 cost $39.95 and $49.95 respectively.

Opt for a quarterly payment term to claim an additional discount of 50%; the VPS-512, for example, costs no more than $41.92 per quarter.

Although Jumpline VPS hosting plans are fairly affordable, it is also possible to claim additional Jumpline coupons to make them suit your budget further.

There are also optional extras you can benefit from, but each of them is available at an extra cost. If you need additional IP addresses, you will have to spend an extra $3 per month for each of them. Support for Plesk Panel costs $15 per month, while using cPanel/WHM will set you back $15 per month as well.

When you use the VPS hosting to host multiple websites or to provide web hosting services to your customers, these additional costs will certainly be an issue.

It would be difficult to offer affordable services with the cost of using Jumpline’s VPS hosting being this high. The best way to go would be to utilize the most rewarding special offers and Jumpline coupons you can find to your advantage.

Other VPS Hosting Plans

The main rival of Jumpline VPS hosting would have to be VPS hosting services from Fatcow. Famous for being the most reliable web hosting service provider today, HostGator is offering a wide range of VPS hosting plans for you to choose from.

For roughly the same price as VPS-512 from Jumpline, you can expect to get 30 GB of storage space and 500 GB of monthly data transfer along with 768 MB of RAM.

Plesk Panel is also included for free, saving you an extra $15 each month. If you want to use cPanel instead, you only need to pay an extra $8 each month for the control panel.

Fatcow is also user-friendlier in general. The company’s customer support is very reliable; compared to Jumpline’s customer support, Fatcow is in fact far more superior.

You don’t have to worry about facing difficulties when setting up your VPS server or completing a number of tasks even when you have no prior experience in managing a VPS server; Fatcow’s technical support will be more than happy to assist you.

Let’s not forget that Fatcow also has some of the most rewarding special offers on the market. Be sure to search for the best Fatcow coupons before you choose to sign up for a VPS hosting account so that you can enjoy an additional discount of up to 50% and have the VPS hosting features you need for less.
