Blogging success is sneaky. Super sneaky. Bloggers work their butts off to try to chase success. Other bloggers blog way too lazy, trying to coax success to flow their way.
Turns out, you meet blogging success halfway.
Success is shy and coy. Court it, but work toward it. Then allow it to find you, as you meet it halfway.
Work generously. Then, trust in the process. Working generously helps you to advance yourself. But trusting in the blogging process allows blogging success to find you while you sleep and enjoy time offline. Do you know why I rarely buy minutes on my phone? I enjoy going completely dark whenever I close my Chromebook and leave my home internet connection. I go off of the grid entirely. Guess what? Success meets me more quickly than when I tried to work 15 hour days to force myself to become successful. Work generously then….relax! Take a chill pill. Allow success to find you, too. Build posture. Get a life. Have a life.
Successful bloggers work, to move toward success, then surrender, to allow success to find them. Does that make sense? I just went for a walk here in NJ. Lovely weather. Empty sidewalks. Anyway, the 90 minutes I took off from blogging allowed success to make a beeline for me as I did what I do, to be successful. Doing what I do includes working for some of the day and playing for some of the day. Anyone who slaves and strives for 18 hours daily blogs from a heavy energy of fear-force. Fear-force negates success. We feel it on people; STAY AWAY, is the main vibe we get when perceiving someone who works like a dog, for sustained periods of time.
But take someone who meets success halfway. These cats have fun helping people for 8-10 or 12 hours daily. But those remaining hours get filled with fun, and life, and offline happenings, too. Relaxed, cool and detached, these are the perfect folks for following because not one of ’em exudes that desperate, hard work consciousness energy we tend to feel stressed around.
Follow these folks. Learn their ways. Work, generously, to be successful. Enjoy helping people. But take a break to be relaxed, calm, confident and trusting. Work generously and love the process to walk toward success. But also success to walk toward you, by taking frequent breaks from blogging work and to allow the creative process to unfold through the principle of surrender.
Surrender does not mean giving up on blogging. Nope. Surrender means blogging daily from a generous energy but trusting enough in self and in the blogging process that you devote time and energy daily to NOT blogging. Imagine the most successful bloggers who blog from a happy, relaxed vibe. Such bloggers blog generously but take time off to enjoy their spoils, for mental science and for family time. Ditto for you. I care not if you have earned 13 cents thru blogging until now; you must master this aspect of surrender well before you become super successful. Periods of surrender give you clarity, confidence and creativity. Plus you won’t run around like a chicken with your head cut off as you blog.
Relax. Blog. Take time off from blogging. No doubt, blogging IS an energy game. Work toward success. But take breaks, to allow blogging success to find you half way.
