As I promote my eBook:
I implore you to write and self-publish eBooks for a dependable income stream. FAR more dependable than advertising revenue. Newbie bloggers often begin blogging to make money through advertising. I scanned a Quora question asked by an inspiring blogger with this gist. He wants to blog and drive ad revenue as a new blogger. Bad idea. Why? Steady advertising revenue is for expert bloggers. Steady, dependable ad revenue flows to bloggers with 5,000 to 10,000 – or more – *targeted* visitors daily. Driving 5K to 10K – or more – visitors daily will require the next 2-3 years and 2000 to 4000 blogging work hours of your life. Newbie bloggers drive 0 to 10 people to their blog daily for the first 1-3 months. Even if you do everything right from a generous energy, you will make zero cents through advertising because you have few skills, little exposure and no credibility. Never mind driving virtually no traffic to your blog. Success takes time. Overnight success is not possible. Let go ad revenue as a newbie blogger income stream. Leave ad money for expert bloggers, for 3-5 years down the road in your blogging career.
Focus heavily on writing and self-publishing eBooks. Newbies have some knowledge of their blogging niche. Having some knowledge allows you to write and self-publish a 5,000 word eBook perfect for the short read category on Amazon Kindle. So…write eBooks! Get after it. Self-publishing eBooks on Amazon partners you with the wealthiest person on earth. Jeff Bezos mastered how to make money online better than any human being. Leverage your newbie blogger profits. Partner with the man. Access his genius. Drive steady passive income through your monthly eBook royalty payments. Of course, keep guest posting, networking generously and building bonds with top bloggers in your niche. Sales flow through creating and connecting generously. But do keep writing and self-publishing eBooks to make money online and to establish your authority. Don’t be intimidated by writing eBooks. You can do it. You will succeed. Buying my eBook above serves as a good starting point because I teach you to be prolific in churning out quality eBooks. Never make volume self-publishing your sole goal. Quality suffers. But self-publishing helpful eBooks regularly establishes you as an authority while increasing your passive blogging income. Plus your readers get helpful tips jam-packed into a full eBook. Win-win scenario here.
Ads brand adverisers. eBooks brand you. Who do newbie bloggers need to brand? Why newbie bloggers, of course. Branding advertisers seems like a bad idea before you establish a rock solid blogging brand for yourself, right? Brand you and your blog. Write and self-publish eBooks. Knife through common mental blocks by visualizing the eBook as a long form, pillar style blog post. Most new bloggers publish a longer post here and there. Take your time to beef up a longer, 1000 word post to a 5000 word eBook. Be sure 90% of the eBook is unique to self-publish the eBook on Amazon. Only 10% is permitted to be copied from blog post to eBook. Everything else needs to be unique to the eBook.
