In the United States today we are celebrating Thanksgiving. A time when most people are supposed to reflect back on what they have and what they are thankful for. I’m extremely thankful for my family, my wife Reena, my dog Foxy and everything I’ve been blessed with, but I’m also very thankful for blogging and that I started my blog when I did.
Time and time again I will talk about how blogging has completely transformed my business and how it has increased my personal brand several times over. Just to name a few of the many things that have happened as a result of my blogs are…
- Appearing on ABC News & Fox News
- Releasing my own book on Amazon
- Keynote speaking at a conference in Australia
- Meeting thousands of new people that read the blog
- Helped my blog readers and site partners earn over $3 million in new business
- Won amazing trips, vacations and experiences all over the world
I could keep going on and on with this list, but new things are being added every day. Many of these benefits of blogging can’t even have a dollar value associated with them, but there has been a massive positive impact on my business and revenue as well.
The bottom line is that BLOGGING needs to be taken serious and can be your gateway to escaping your regular 9-5 job or even starting out as just a side income of a few hundred (or even a few thousand) dollars per month.
Take the time to appreciate everything you have in life today, while being with your family this Thanksgiving, but also don’t forget about the advantage you have in the world of blogging. If you didn’t make it big or where you would like to be at in 2013, a new year is just around the corner. Look at your current position in life and in business and set a goal to start making big things happen!
As one of my favorite posters in my room says…. “Life is short. Do stuff that matters!“
