From the day this Google Panda came to existence, every blogging mistake is getting counted. Blogs are getting punished for the mistakes. The primary goal of any blog is to get traffic and loyal readers. Unless you can’t get traffic, you can’t get any loyal readers. And for Google Panda, it doesn’t matter if it is a very huge and highly reputed blog. The Google Panda’s only aim is to bring quality rich articles to the front most pages and kick back the blogs with low quality posts.
You can however use some plugins to keep yourself safe from some mistakes that you might make in terms of SEO, links and other stats. From my personal experience with Panda, I came to know about these tactics and thought you too might need them.
Broken Link Checker
For this very reason, one of my blog had severely got hit by Google Panda. It’s so common to have some broken links if your blog has a large number of pages. And sometimes while you are experimenting with your blog, it’s obvious to get some broken links as a result. But Google Panda hates broken links. This plugin can help you in finding the broken links on your site and so you can remove/repair them ASAP.
Missing SEO Data
Meta data is quite an important thing for proper search engine optimization. Missing SEO data analyzes and gives you the missing SEO data of your posts and enabling you to update with proper and relevant data so as to rank better and stay away from Google Panda.
Admin Word Count Column
The length of the article is also an important SEO factor. Google hates posts of less length and low quality. It’s because, for each keyword of every niche, there are hundreds of bloggers competing. So your 100-100 words can’t explain better than their brief written and well explained article. The possibility of ranking is highly impossible. This Admin Word Count Column WordPress plugin shows you all the low length articles on your site dashboard.
WordPress Cache Plugins
Let’s suppose, you’re searching for a query on Google and the 1st result looks better than others. When you open it, the site is taking more than enough time to test your patience. So will you ever visit that site again? The same will be applicable in case of other readers too. If your site is taking too much time to load, remember, you’ll get hit by Panda today or tomorrow. WordPress cache plugins are that which minify the site data and brings the static version of web pages to the front end and when you integrate it with a CDN, your site will load in a finger snap.
Interlinking your content can be a helpful advantage of your on-page SEO and it’ll also be useful for readers of your blog to browse and read more relevant and useful content with ease. When a user tends to spend much time on your blog, naturally your site bounce rate will also be less (the less the bounce rate the better the result).
WordPress SEO Plugins
These days, with the rise in the power of SEO, developers have also started cashing it. Lots of free and premium SEO plugins started hitting the WordPress directory. Personally, I’ve been using WordPress SEO by Yoast and just love it. You can add Meta data, target keyword, Meta keywords and can also set two different titles, one for the site and the other for SEO. This plugin also gives you the complete analysis of your post like the word count, keyword density, usage of images, usages of headings, outbound links etc.… You can also find some premium versions of these WordPress SEO plugins and Easy WP SEO is what I recommend, if you want to go with a premium one.
Just a simple thing, keeping your blog clean, minimal and easy to navigate with rich content can help you in keeping Google Panda at a distance. Say no to black-hat SEO techniques and so you’ll get good results.
