Bloggingtips.com is the culmination of years worth of hard work. The entire website was created to help you, the reader, become an authority blog that acts as a community for bloggers, writers, and readers to connect with each other.

Evolving with time.

The Bloggingtips.com blog was originally started by Kevin Muldoon, and first went live in 2007. In 2010, it was sold to Zac Johnson, and sold yet again to Brett Helling in September 2020.

Since then, the current team has acquired multiple assets in the space and rolled them into one, creating the Blogging Tips website that you see today.

While the site design has changed over the years, the mission remains the same…… to help bloggers start, grow, and monetize a successful blog.

The reason behind why we exist

I've built this website from the ground up as a way to help others build an online business that they can be proud of.

I'm making it my mission to help others escape the 9-5 rat race and build something that allows them to work where, when, and how they want - on their own terms.

My Story

My name is Brett Helling, and I’ve been starting and growing blogs for over 7 years.

When I was in college, I signed up to drive for Uber and Lyft as a way to earn extra income during the times I wasn’t studying or working my internships.

But I quickly grew frustrated.

Back then, there was very little training once drivers were approved. Rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft would onboard drivers, provide them with a few videos that highlighted the basics of how pickups and dropoffs worked, then sent the drivers on their way.

There was very little training, and after a bit of frustration, I launched a website about the rideshare industry.

When I wasn’t studying or working for my other jobs, I toyed around with the site, hoping to create something that drivers loved, yet still helped them do their job.

The site ended up growing to 1,500,000 unique visitors per month, to the point where I was able to quit my full-time job and work on the site full time.

It was during this venture that I learned the amazing potential of the internet, as well as came to the realization that I loved to build things.

To provide people around the world with useful tools and information, and for them to continuously revisit my websites, gave me great satisfaction and continued inspiration.

Long story short, the growth of that rideshare site made it possible for me to quit my day job and focus on building my internet company.

Since then, I’ve branched out into many other areas and tried my hand and many different business ventures.

At one point, I started and managed more than 50 blogs. However, today, I spend my time growing about half a dozen authority sites, some of which average over 1,000,000 visits a month.

Now, I want to pass on that knowledge to you.

My Vision

Despite our acquisitions, our focus for the blog remains the same: to be a complete source for everything you need to know about blogging or starting a website.

Bloggingtips.com is the culmination of years of research and experience. We will discuss everything from the basics of how to start a blog to promotion, outreach, on-page SEO, link building strategies, growing traffic, and making money blogging online.

If you are looking to build a blog, you’ve come to the right place.

And I feel that, unlike others, my results back up my claims. Since I’ve taken over the site, it has experienced high growth. I could write about it, or I could just show you.

As you can see, the site has already grown since I acquired it in early September 2021. And now I plan to grow it even more.

Bloggingtips.com is already a great destination for blogging advice, information, and tips, but now that I am focusing my full attention on the site, I plan to make it THE go-to destination for blogging advice.

Stay tuned, big things are coming.
