Discover mind-blowing ChatGPT examples, from content creation to business ideas and recipe generation, showcasing its versatility and capabilities.
How good is ChatGPT at handling different tasks and conversations?
Social media feeds like Twitter, Reddit, and LinkedIn are filled with numerous ChatGPT examples.
So much so that you can be forgiven for taking it as some all-conquering AI tool capable of solving all our life’s problems. Indeed, it might be incredibly close to the truth.
Instead of taking other people’s examples for granted, I have put ChatGPT through some rigorous testing, with prompts and questions for different purposes.
So, in today’s post, let’s find out how the chatbot held up in the test with 20 incredible ChatGPT examples.
Chat GPT are two words that comprise the name of the world’s most popular generative AI tool ChatGPT. It is short for Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer.
The Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (GPT) was developed by Open AI. It is powered by an extensive language model (LLM) pre-trained with massive datasets, creating a robust artificial intelligence architecture.
It also underwent a training process called Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) to fine-tune its responses with a specific reward model. That’s why, ChatGPT can generate human-like text in a natural tone and style.
The “Chat” part in Chat GPT comes from the ai system’s ability to comprehend human prompts and perform numerous conversational tasks.
ChatGPT users can enter a text prompt in a chat-like input window, which the tool would analyze and respond to in an auto-scroll chat window.
However, calling ChatGPT just a chatbot would surely offend Open AI founders Same Altman or Elon Musk. After all, the visionaries of the generative language model (GPT) dreamed of a revolutionary tech that can be integral to our personal and professional use cases.
Currently powered by GPT-3.5 or the GPT-4 language model (ChatGPT Plus), ChatGPT has many exciting use cases. For example, it can be generating creative ideas or the description of a unique piece of AI art.
More than a billion ChatGPT users are using different versions of ChatGPT. Moreover, the ChatGPT API allows developers to integrate its powerful language model into their projects.
Despite a few feature updates and new releases, using a personal computer or laptop remains the best way to try and use ChatGPT.
You can use a web browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to visit the ChatGPT website and create a free account to start using it.
While at it, you can implement the following best practices to receive high-quality human-like responses:
The ChatGPT API also made it easily accessible through different apps and tools. For instance, you can have a ChatGPT-like conversation with the Snapchat AI inside the app.
You should also learn about ChatGPT limitations to save yourself from disappointments.
ChatGPT can go to the moon for you and back! And no, it’s not really true. Although some people may still make you want to believe that with their creation of fake ChatGPT examples.
Due to its unsupervised machine learning capacities, it is impossible to pinpoint precisely what ChatGPT can do.
It is still developing, and people have only started the exploration.
Joshua Browder, the CEO of AI technology company DoNotPay, shared a ChatGPT example on Twitter showing how the AI chatbot found him some actual money.
Confused about what to believe, I have put through some of the most incredible ChatGPT examples through testing. Let’s explore the results below.
I could write this blog post entirely with AI using various content writing prompts for ChatGPT. Or could I?
This is one of the most discussed topics regarding ChatGPT, with people equally impressed and worried about the ramification of having an excellent AI tool for content creation.
Can the AI chatbot deal with the entire process of content creation? To test it, I asked ChatGPT to find me the most popular blog topic about social media. Here is what it suggested:
While the response had a disclaimer regarding the lack of the most up-to-date information, some of these topic ideas are evergreen.
With a couple new follow-up prompts, the AI tool also found some of the most critical keywords and created an outline for the first topic it suggested.
Now it’s time to write the blog post. So, I asked ChatGPT to transform the outline into a 500-word blog post.
While the text response was over 500 words, it covered all the essential aspects well. However, the text read bland, generic, and plagued with plagiarism.
Repurposing the same content for different social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn didn’t face any issues.
For instance, I asked the chatbot to create a Facebook post summarizing the blog, and here is what it did:
ChatGPT is not just a research tool that spits out informative content from the internet; it also has many excellent creative skills.
The AI tool can write poetry, song lyrics, and stories. It can also adopt the voice of any famous authors, producing content in their style.
For instance, I asked ChatGPT to write a short poem about love in the style of Charles Bukowski. Its response was quite interesting:
Indeed, it doesn’t have the unique insights or experience so prevalent in Bukowski’s seemingly meaningless lines, but the artificial intelligence in ChatGPT goes pretty close to mimicking his style.
Some claim that Open AI’s ChatGPT can be creative enough to compose new music, even if you want it to mimic the style of a famous composer.
However, my test’s response is limited in general directions, not writing the actual notes.
Excited by the prospect, I asked ChatGPT to write me a screenplay for a 10-minute short about a boy and girl falling in love with each other. Here is what it did:
ChatGPT’s human-like responses go as far as utilizing jokes or sarcasm to make it funny.
Like a search engine, it can find jokes for any occasion or topic. It can also create something funny in the style of famous comedians.
Putting the comedic abilities of ChatGPT, I asked it to tell me a joke in the style of Dave Chappelle. While reading its response (see below) felt more like a voice of reason than a joke, it still managed to grasp the stylistic tones of my favorite comedian.
What about finding a joke to tell in a specific situation?
I asked ChatGPT to suggest something to cheer up a teenager whose favorite soccer team lost a game. The AI chatbot responded with generic but inspiring words.
When I refined my prompt by mentioning a joke, it told me a soccer joke perfect for the context.
It was a borderline dad joke, but still funny.
Many people are trying to make money with ChatGPT.
Some establish new businesses backed up by AI technology, while others use the chatbot to ideate, organize, and strategize their professional moves.
The internet is filled with numerous ChatGPT examples showcasing how the AI tool can help entrepreneurs with their daily routines, marketing campaigns, customer service, public relations, or sales tips.
Nevertheless, is it possible to generate new business ideas with ChatGPT?
I asked ChatGPT to imagine itself as a 30-years old data analyst trying to start a business after gaining 5 years of experience in the field. I also mentioned that the entrepreneur has no money to invest.
Amazingly, the chatbot suggested five bonafide business ideas with a little explanation.
It is not a secret that ChatGPT is powered by large language models (LLM) called GPT-3 and GPT-4.
These artificial intelligence models were pre-trained with massive text-based data, making them capable of understanding and producing human conversation with ChatGPT prompts.
Due to primarily being a text-based chatbot, ChatGPT can’t create images. I asked the generative ai tool to confirm it, and it responded by explaining its inability. It did, however, produce a unique art description.
What do you do with such a description?
You can write ChatGPT prompts to generate prompts for a generative AI tool like Midjourney before using the prompt to create the AI art.
Check the following YouTube video showcasing examples of using ChatGPT and Midjourney to create fantastic digital art pieces:
With a wide range of information fed into its language model, there is no surprise that ChatGPT is capable of writing recipes for different meals.
ChatGPT examples of modifying a recipe to suit a user’s taste buds are also available in abundance.
In my testing, I pushed it by asking it to create a recipe for a well-known item like KFC chicken. Here is what it produced:
I didn’t cook and taste it to check how closely it resembles the secret KFC chicken recipe, but the ingredients and instructions seem logical.
Next, I wondered how to serve the chicken, so it looked like a Michelin star platter with a follow-up prompt.
Again, the AI chatbot managed to produce a wholesome response.
While Open AI’s chatbot is creative, spontaneous, and can remain aware of previous conversations, ChatGPT has some glaring limitations.
According to Open AI, it can sometimes deliver misinformation and shouldn’t be used as a counselor.
ChatGPT’s training information is not updated to the latest information. Hence, it can’t give you a news update or weather forecast.
The chatbot is also designed to be good-natured and safe for all users. So, it refuses to generate mean or derogatory content to others, even as a joke.
As a text generator, it is also not expected to create art or images, but it can create ASCII art. However, some ASCII art it generates may fail badly.
A ChatGPT example on Reddit hilariously exposes this limitation:
ChatGPT also finds it challenging to solve riddles or other similar logical sequences. Its responses are hit-and-miss, with no guarantee of receiving an accurate response every time.
ChatGPT is safe to use if you utilize it to generate human-like responses on different topics. The official platform is also secure from malware infection.
However, ChatGPT does save your conversation for future review and learning, which can compromise your privacy. Also, avoid installing any fake ChatGPT apps.
There is no standalone AI tool that is as capable as ChatGPT.
While some alternative tools like Bing AI Chat or Snapchat My AI are good, they use the same language model found in ChatGPT.
However, competition is hotting up with the impending release of Google Bard.
Like humans, ChatGPT has its capabilities and limitations. While it can generate artificial text responses in human voices and remember the context while answering, it can’t yet perform as creatively as its human counterparts.
In general, you should consider it an accessible and competent AI tool that can assist you in performing various tasks quickly and easily. Simply refrain from asking about the weather to seek life-changing advice.
