  • Pinterest Creator Newsletter— you must subscribe to be notified as soon as possible about the annual commencement of registration for the Pinterest Creator fund.

How To Make Money On Pinterest: Step-By-Step Instructions

There are several different monetization strategies you can adopt, your choice will depend on the nature of your website and the reach of your brand on the platform.

I will recommend going with one or more of the following methods:

Method 1: Pinterest Affiliate Marketing

The vast majority of Pinterest users visit the platform when they are ready to go shopping, and 83% of them end up purchasing the products they discovered on the platform.

Making money on social media doesn’t get any easier than this.

All you need to do is to connect your rich pin to the affiliate link that leads to the product you want your audience to buy.

Pinterest itself is not involved in such agreements, so you will be the one to flesh out the terms between yourself and the merchants or affiliate program whose products you are promoting.

  • Once the pin is published, a paid partnership label will be attached to it, but the brand’s name will be absent.
  • The brand name will only appear after the brand approves your request. If it’s rejected, the partnership label will be removed from your product pin.

  • Use Shopify with a U.S. billing address
  • Use only Shopify feeds on Pinterest
  • Accept returns from customers
  • Have a customer support system
